My Personal Vision

In 20 years, I see myself living a modest, fulfilling life. I'd like to imagine that I would have a family, friends, a decently sized house, a car, and a job I enjoy doing. I would prefer a job where I can work with my hands, as a mechanic, artisan, construction worker, or even someone who builds furniture on commission. I believe that I would enjoy these jobs because I am a very tactile person, wanting to feel what I am doing to be able to really know how what I do effects what I am working on.

The three major goals I have for my life are as follows. I would like to have a stable job while still making a little extra for spending, keeping in touch with my family as I make a new life for myself, and I would like to go on a massive roundtrip around the U.S.. Given the opportunity, I also wouldn't mind traveling to a few foreign countries to experience other cultures, and broaden my own sense of self and identity.
I look up to my father, his work ethic, his compassion for his family, and his resolve to finish what he starts with quality. I look to be like him by strengthening my own resolve, work hard towards what I desire, and to be a strong figure to rely on for my family, and friends.
Although I don't see myself doing anything ridiculous in 20 years, I still see myself being a happy, content man.
