My Reflective Essay
As for self image, I consider myself a fairly confident person, able to talk to a variety of people despite our clashing interests, personalities, and viewpoints. As a result of being able to talk to a multitude of people, I always have a wonderful group of support to help me achieve my goals. Also as a result of my outgoing personality, I enjoy being selfless, caring, and helping others.
My new basics skills reach a wide range of skills acquired through my many ventures I have taken part in as I have grown up. Being a generally curious person, I thoroughly enjoy learning new things, watching documentaries, and expanding my knowledge in different ways. I can speak a mild amount of spanish, enough to usually get my point across, as well as that, I am a proficient writer with an expansive vocabulary that I enjoy using in different ways to enhance my works. I, as a person, am fascinated with history, and how the world works. So it should come without saying that I absolutely love to work on machines, do my own science experiments, learning how to shape the world around me, and learning about historical events of the past, and what will be historical events in the future.
I am a very creative person, enjoying making works of art, modifying games, and building models, and functional machines out of Lego, wood, and in virtual worlds. These machines I make always have a certain level of complexity to keep me interested, and thus, I have lots of problem solving skills, not only in finding ways to get mechanical items to work, but also solving interpersonal problems, helping my friends emotionally, and physically. I am often the middle man for helping two friends get along again, and I believe that I am proficient enough to do so more frequently.
Others and myself consider me a valuable team member, who often goes out of their way to help, and participate in the task. Not only this, but when in a self assembled partnership or group I have the ability to organize and set deadlines for the group to make production go much faster and smoother than it would have otherwise been. In doing this, I often have to negotiate with my team members for deadlines that work with their pre established schedules, while still maintaining a work ethic comparable to the quality of work we would like to produce. Being a very kind person at heart, I enjoy meeting new people from different backgrounds and surroundings than I am used to, always embracing new colleagues and friends alike.
Technology wise, I use technology every day in my everyday life, as well as experimenting with modifying games, and other programs on my computer. I am literate in document editing, and can apply technology to almost every task I can do. I am also more than capable of selecting technology and an application for said technology in everyday life. I maintain my technology weekly from a virtual level, and physically on a bi annual level.
